WHY ROCK STEADY:

We are an affiliate of the internationally recognized Rock Steady Boxing program, which was founded in Indianapolis in 2006. With over 800 affiliates throughout the world, thousands are able to face their opponent of Parkinson’s disease and FIGHT BACK!

We give hope to people with Parkinson’s by improving their quality of life through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum. Boxing is not just boxing, it is specifically designed to address Parkinson’s symptoms such as slow or small movements, imbalance, stiffness, flexed posture, and respiratory weakness.

Our scientifically-based curriculum, and implementation of different classes, allows for all stages of Parkinson’s. Modifications are easily made due to an individual’s medical history and ability.
